The Vini Pasta Bowl
For the Benvenuti table setting, we begin with the Vini Pasta Bowl. An ode to the wreath of Dionysis and Puglia's rich greek and roman history, the Vini Pasta Bowl is adorned with hand-painted grapes; a symbol of celebration, tradition and abundance. The colours have been carefully selected to represent the rich red soils of Puglia and the soft shades of Verdeca grapes native to the region.
The Benvenuti Plate
The Benvenuti Main Plate exhibits a simplicity and classic form, with its proportions, shape and symmetry. A specific size of brush has been selected for each of its hand-painted lines; on closer observation its painterly style created by the hand and eye of the artisan can be admired.
A Touch of Colour
To add colour and vibrancy to your table, we recommend a curated assortment of side plates to serve many occasions including dessert moments and informal gatherings such as tea ceremonies, breakfast settings and informal dining. Each plate is a unique and joyous piece of artwork and can easily be interchanged to transform your table setting.
Serving Essentials
When selecting serving pieces, we recommend a variation of shapes, heights and sizes to create a layered effect. Each piece must be considered depending on the style of dish to be served. The centre piece of the table is always firstly considered by selecting a vase or fruit bowl stand, then how each course will be served and the space available after each place setting is set.
The Everchanging Tablescape
When selecting dinner plates & pasta bowls, consider the number of place settings your table will accomodate. For settings of 8 or more, consider creating two different yet complimentary settings that work harmoniously together. This will allow a wider range of styling options for each gathering. New pieces of varying colours can be added to your tabletop over time for an ever changing yet timeless table.
